Operations management is a branch of management that deals with implementing strategies, designing and controlling the process of converting raw material into the final products in every organization. Operation managers play a vital role in the progressive state of the company since they control all the operations within an organisation, right from developing a plan to dispatch the raw materials to and from factories to planning for worst case scenarios that could arise on the factory floor. The job deals with accepting immense responsibilities not specific to decision making in all product phase including product design, maintenance, quality management, technology, supply chain management, inventory management and market forecasting.
An operational manager should be capable of making prominent decisions at the spur of the moment and should be capable of accepting challenges at both national and international level. He should also know in and out of all the product processes of the organization in addition to possessing leadership qualities, decision making abilities, and problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and technological understanding.

Graduate: For admission into bachelor’s degree program a student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with a minimum 50% marks from a recognized university / institution. The duration for this program is of 3 years.
