Environmental engineering is a division of engineering that applies the knowledge of science and engineering principles to preserve and improve the environment such as water, air and soil resources in order to provide healthy environment. Through increased use of chemicals in industry and agricultural, the environment has become severely polluted. Skilled professionals in this field are called as environmental engineers. For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. Candidates after completion of their course in B.E/ B.Tech in environmental engineering can earn their initial salary around Rs. 15,000 - Rs.30,000 every month.
